What a person from the past wouldn’t give to live a day in our shoes!

Isn’t it mind blowing that I can take the money I earn in just a few short hours and purchase a ticket and board a massive jet engine plane and cross the country or go to another part of the world in a matter of hours? Incredible!

Isn’t it mind blowing that money is so cheap to us that one can find pennies and even dollars lying in almost every parking lot in the country, and yet almost no one bothers to pick it up? Incredible!

Isn’t it mind blowing that with the touch of my finger I can access almost any information that I want to know; that on a whim I can find out about any subject I might desire to pursue without ever leaving my bed? Incredible!

Isn’t it mind blowing that I have food in my kitchen that could last me weeks, more entertainment than many kings have had, more opportunities than the most prominent people throughout history? Incredible!

Isn’t it mind blowing that with all the hundreds of wars throughout time, that I should wake up every morning without fear of attack? Incredible!

Isn’t it mind blowing that I have in my native language the complete written word of God? Incredible!

Am I not the most fortunate person of all time? And I wouldn’t even be considered rich to many Americans.

Christian, if only you would stop to think what you’ve been given! Just close your eyes and think about how much more you have than 99% of history. You are blessed by God to be alive right here, right now. The best time in the history of ever.
